Walk for Life - June 15, 2013

The Pregnancy Care Center’s annual Walk for Life fundraiser is right around the corner! We would love for you to get involved and help raise funds for the PCC!    

There will be three locations this year:

• Haverhill, MA: Haverhill High School Track, 137 Monument Street

• Newburyport, MA: Hope Community Church, 11 Hale Street

• Reading, MA: St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn Street
  

The Walk for Life is a two mile, fun walk for the whole family to celebrate life and to raise money for the Pregnancy Center.

Why do we walk?  

• We walk to save babies and transform lives!
• We walk and raise pledges to help the Pregnancy Center continue to provide FREE services to women, families and teens. Last year, many babies were saved through our centers in Haverhill, Amesbury and Newburyport.

How to Get Started:

1. Register to Walk For Life.
2. Create an online fundraising website
3. Download a Pledge Form to print OR pick one up at your church. If your church isn't involved in the Walk For Life, click here. Print an information sheet or a poster.
4. Start asking for sponsorship, ask everyone you know! Friends, family, co-workers, EVERYONE! Simply commit to asking one person a day to sponsor you, or set aside 10 minutes each day to ask for pledges. Did you know that you can raise $250 in 15 minutes by asking 10 people to pledge $25?! 
5. Set a fundraising goal!
6. Pass your pledge form around in your office, (kids-ask your parent(s) to bring it to their office for you).
7. Remember that you DO NOT have to collect any money! We will invoice your sponsors AFTER the Walk For Life. If anyone does give you money, just mark that they have paid on your pledge form and bring the money with you on the day of the Walk.
8. Also, remember that if you are unable to join us at the Walk, you can walk on your own - anytime, anywhere - it still counts! You will save babies. You will change lives. We will be grateful!
